Plain-Language Summary

We collect basic account details and content you add to your profile to generate your public portfolio, resume, digital card, and contacts. We do NOT track you across third-party websites, we do NOT use advertising tracking pixels, and we NEVER name individual visitors in analytics. You own your data and can delete your account anytime.

1. Information We Collect

NetSynq operates on a single unified data model. The information collected depends on how you interact with the platform:

Account & Profile Credentials: Full name, username, email address, password hash, headline, bio, contact details, social links, work experience, education, skills, projects, and certifications.
Scanned Contacts Data: Physical business card image uploads and text fields parsed by our optical scanner, saved strictly inside your private Contacts Manager.
Form Messages & Testimonials: Contact messages and client testimonials submitted directly to your public page.
Cookieless Visitor Analytics: Page view counts, referrer channels (e.g., WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Google), device types, and coarse city-level geographic locations.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used strictly to provide and improve your NetSynq services:

To render your public portfolio page (`netsynq.com/yourname`) according to your selected theme template.
To generate downloadable ATS-compliant PDF resumes.
To power your Digital QR Card and `.vcf` contact file downloads.
To display private visitor analytics inside your user dashboard cockpit.
To process subscription billing transactions securely via Razorpay.

3. Information Sharing & Third Parties

We respect your privacy and enforce strict third-party sharing boundaries:

No Advertising Pixels: We do NOT embed tracking pixels from ad networks (e.g. Meta Pixel or Google Ads trackers).
No Selling of Data: We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information or contact database to third-party data brokers.
Trusted Service Infrastructure: We share data only with necessary infrastructure providers:
- Razorpay: Encrypted payment processing for subscriptions (we never store raw credit card details).
- Cloud Storage: Secure storage of user media (profile avatars, project images).

4. Analytics Privacy Rules

Our analytics engine operates under strict privacy guarantees:

Visitor IP addresses are shortened and anonymized before storage.
Individual visitors are NEVER named in your analytics (e.g. *"Someone from Bengaluru viewed your page"* is recorded, not individual personal names, unless they are logged-in users who opt in).

5. Data Control, Export & Account Deletion

You maintain 100% ownership of your data:

Data Export: You can download all your contacts as CSV/vCard and export your portfolio content anytime from Dashboard -> Settings -> Data.
Account Deletion: You can request account deletion from your settings. A 30-day grace period is provided to change your mind before permanent deletion. Financial invoices are retained as required by Indian tax laws.
